Target Field

Almost a month ago, Amy and Luke came to town so we could take in a Twins/Brewer game at Target Field. They came up last year around the same time and the Twins smoked the Brewers so we were hoping for a more exciting game this year.

The game was a Friday night game so the plan was to head downtown after Joe got home from work. We headed downtown and parked by the Metrodome (the old Twins' home) and took the light rail to Target Field. We walked to Pizza Luce for an early dinner and then headed back to Target Field to take some pictures before the gates opened.

Once the gates opened we spent a good hour and a half walking around the whole stadium, checking out every store and stopping for pictures along the way.

We finally found the section our seats were in and it was a vertical climb to the very top. Had I not been pregnant, the vertical climb wouldn't have been that bad but holy crap it must have taken 5 minutes for me to catch my breath once we got to the top. And at the top we were. Amy refused to turn around but yet the two little boys next to her were thrilled with how high up they were and wouldn't stop turning around to see how high up we were.

Here is the view from our seats:

Alas, this game was a lot like last years game. The Brew Crew was in awe of Target Field and forgot they actually had to play a baseball game. I told Amy and Luke that "the third times the charm" and hopefully when they come to the game next year, the brewers will actually play.

Next year the Brewer's will win because Baby Bo will be cheering for them!
